The Beginning

Jurmala Golf Club & Hotel is located close to Riga’s International airport, next to the resort town of Jurmala, and offers a range of high-standard services where particular attention is paid to the smallest details. The advantage of Jurmala Golf Club & Hotel is its proximity to the capital city of Riga and the international airport which handles direct flights to and from various destinations around the world. This golf club provides a high quality and value compared to other golf courses in the Baltic States. We have identified not only the company’s target audience, but the audience’s tastes and preferences as well.

Client needs

Produce and implement the new visual-identity of the Jurmala Golf Club & Hotel brand, and prepare the concept of full package, print production for all needs of the client (golf club, hotel & restaurant).

The Process / Immersion

Corporate identity. We have abandoned the typical associations on the topic of golf, resort and location: Jurmala, golf, sea waves, amber, nature. We have implemented different visions of this product. Brand-book and guideline. Here we have described the brand’s values and rules on the use of corporate identity on a variety of media and materials.

Packaging. The packaging was made using the modern minimalism to make it fully understandable and attractive for the target audience. The brand name has become clear and noticeable, leaving only the necessary information about the company. Graphic design. We have decided to use modern minimalism in the graphic design of the company’s brand materials, as well as on the packaging materials, but show the high quality service and all the possibilities of comfort time, which people can spend in Jurmala Golf Club & Hotel.

Summary & Impact

A classical hotel visual identity solution is implemented to represent the forma style. This is achieved through a redrawn font and a Jurmala sea signature element & colour. Vinille have been deeply inside the golf game, studied all the processes and rules, high level of hospitality service and brand value – This is the only way to achieve a high level of brand identity development.
